ShamCow Level 17 Tauren ShamanYou seem to be in the same place that I was a few weeks ago. I was feral and noticed the complete lack of healers so I switched to resto. I would say make a list of gear that you want and make sure to run those instances every day that you're going. Make friends with a few tanks and try to run with a good one over and over so you both gear up together and get into a groove so to speak.
I would suggest the feet / legs from LW as they are great pieces and I do not believe they are overly expensive.There seems to be a bad shortage of healers on Detheroc, based on oh about 20 request for healer for a group per second so I decided to respec resto and dug out my old gear from the bank. Most of the gears were from raids I did at 70 and never been socketed, enchanted, or updated for 80's
I have replaced most of the gears anyhow using new gears from rep vendor and my LW skill. That still leaves enchants. What are the suggested enchants for each slots? Also is there any must-have badge gear for resto that I can get using old 70's badge of justice. I got like 300 badges rotting in my currency tab.
With my current gear I have 1300 bonus heal, 425 mana regen.
I'd prefer not to run to AH and buy rare epic stuff, 7,000 gold won't last me and I'm trying to save enough to buy mats for the motorcycle mount. (alt engineer, have all except for the 12,000g vendor only mats)
