AW will still be a great way to help with initial threat, espially on bosses and aoe pulls. AW is still great for healing. if 20% more healing will pull threat then the tank's threat to mitigation ratio is a bit of... healers will definitely still be using AW for predted higher amounts of damage. Ret shouldn't have been using AW right at the start of a pull anyway. if you are pulling aggro with AW either you are using it at the wrong times, or your tanks threat is terrible and you need to be using your HoSalv more. maybe have your tank be using his HoSalv on you or um, the threat transfering buff that prot warriors have if the problem is their threat generation. This is not very mh of a PvE nerf for any sp if you've been using AW wisely already. tually, I'm a tank. Divine Prottion (whh is the spell I spified, not Divine Shield or Hand of Prottion) dreases damage taken by 50% and prs Forbearae. In a situation where a boss enrages or randomly deals lots of damage, or where the healers may be a little slow in transferring from one tank to another -50% damage is a godsend. Similarly, if a tank gets killed very qukly and the mob turns to a healer before another tankan pk it up, Divine Shield would be a fantast little thing would it not? Saves the healer's life
and hopefully allows someone else to pk up the enemy. In both of thoseases, and probably many more, the player in question would be dead thanks to using Avenging Wrath a little while before and therefore unable toontribute further (unless you have a druid withombat res handy). In my opinion, it sks that the pragmat mentality means that Avenging Wrath should then not be used unless you are VERY sure you're not going to need the other abilities.
