Making WOW Gold with Skinning and Leatherworking

Do you want to make large numbers of wow gold? Just choose Skinning and Leatherworking as your profession.

Compared to other gathering skills, skinning is easier to level up. Because you don’t need to find herbs or ore, just skin enemies you kill. It means that you can level and gather at the same time. Leathers are in high demand by Leatherworkers, Blacksmiths and Tailors. But many of them don’t choose Skinning as their profession. So leathers sell well on the Auction House. As a Skinner, you can provide leathers for Leatherworking. Once your Leatherworking skill reaches 150, you’ll be able to craft several items that are in consistent demand at the Auction House.

Now, I will tell you how to use these two skills to help you making wow gold in details.

At beginning levels, sell Light Leather in full stacks of 20. You can also make Light Armor Kits by Leatherworking, but players only need a few of them, so sell them in single units.

You will gain Medium Leather from creatures when you around level 15. You can combine 5 units of Light Leather to make 1 units of Medium Leather, but it’s only good for XP, because the Medium Leather does not sell for 5x the going rate of Light Leather. So from a gold making standpoint, you’re better off just selling the Light Leather.

When your Leatherworking skill reaches 100, you can also make Medium Armor Kits. Now, still sell the Leather in maximum stacks and the Armor Kits in single units. As you leveling up, make a few other items at each skill level to gather Leatherworking XP. Once your Leatherworking skill reaches 150, craft the Heavy Quiver and Heavy Leather Ammo Pouch and sell them at the Auction House, each of them can sell for about 1 gold. When your Leatherworking skill reaches 225, craft the Quickdraw Quiver and Thick Leather Ammo Pouch, each of them can sell for about 5 to 6 gold.
